Business Development Executive - HCM/Payroll Market

Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the HCM/Payroll industry. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the HCM landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prioritize target accounts within the HCM/Payroll market, including mid-sized and enterprise-level organizations.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at prospective client companies.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions that address the unique challenges and objectives of each prospect.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and market needs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our HCM/Payroll solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in accordance with company policies and objectives.
  • Track and report on sales pipeline activity, forecasts, and results using CRM software.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles within the HCM/Payroll market.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong understanding of HCM/Payroll software solutions, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at all levels of an organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business outcomes.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
