Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the HCM/Payroll industry. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the HCM landscape, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prioritize target accounts within the HCM/Payroll market, including mid-sized and enterprise-level organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to generate new business opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders at prospective client companies.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions that address the unique challenges and objectives of each prospect.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and market needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition of our HCM/Payroll solutions.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale in accordance with company policies and objectives.
- Track and report on sales pipeline activity, forecasts, and results using CRM software.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development roles within the HCM/Payroll market.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
- Strong understanding of HCM/Payroll software solutions, industry trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at all levels of an organization.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving business outcomes.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
